Doch hat es Steve Kaufman geschafft, eine eigene künstlerische Identität aufzubauen, in dem er die Pop Art Tradition Andy Warhols - dessen Assistent er in der "Factory" war - mit anderen Elementen verschmolz.

Er eröffnete mit seinem "The Art Studio" im Jahr 2000 eine völlig veränderte Sicht auf die Kunst des 21sten Jahrhunderts, die mit nie gekannten Medienevents und einem sehr starken sozialen Bewusstsein gekoppelt ist.
